SEAS OF LIFE MISSIONS KENYA

We are officially registered in Kenya as a Non-Profit Society, which equips us to provide both a legal and spiritual covering to independent churches or youth centres that are in need of such support. Additionally, we extend our assistance to Pastors who are aspiring to plant a new church in their community. Our process involves a comprehensive three-hour interview to determine if we align closely in vision and heart for ministry, as well as to assess whether it is viable for us to move forward together in a partnership dedicated to ministry work. God created the idea of family, and we believe that a real example of God’s nature is found in being part of His eternal family. Here, we can experience true love, comfort, and safety in our connections with each other. Ephesians 4:6 states there is “one God and Father of all, who is over all, through all, and in all.”

We celebrate the rich diversity that exists in our various relationships, recognizing it as a crucial element of our shared experience together. Additionally, we view leadership as a gracious gift that is meant for serving the community with a spirit of humility and selflessness. In our mission, we wholeheartedly embrace both women and men in leadership roles, understanding that their unique perspectives and insights significantly enhance our collective mission and efforts.

PURPOSEFUL

We see ourselves as dedicated co-workers with God in His profound mission – the reconciliation of all things, both under heaven and earth, under the lordship of Christ. The Good News about Jesus must be presented in a way that resonates deeply and is relevant to our unique context, not only through our carefully chosen words but also through our meaningful actions, all accompanied by a powerful demonstration of God’s miraculous power. We firmly believe that justice and social action are integral to the transformative message of Jesus, embodying His teachings and love in our communities.

SPIRIT-FILLED AND LED

Our life and faith are continuously energised and informed by a vibrant and living experience of the Holy Spirit, both on an individual level and within our corporate gatherings. We hold a firm belief in a God who breaks into the fabric of time and space through the power of His Holy Spirit, bringing forth revelation, healing bodies, sharing a variety of spiritual gifts, and performing miraculous signs that inspire wonder and awe. Our spiritual life is deeply rooted in the Scriptures and is also shaped and informed by the wisdom of church history.

FOCUSED ON THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Because in Ephesians 4:6 it says that there is “one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.’…We firmly believe that the entirety of life and creation is sacred and holds profound significance. We, therefore, look to express a vibrant culture and lifestyle of worship that consistently recognizes and celebrates the connectedness of all aspects of life, ensuring there is no sacred-secular divide as we joyfully celebrate all of life in its fullness. We have a strong and unwavering commitment to equipping everyone, regardless of their background, to effectively engage across all spheres of life – including business, politics, media, community, education, creativity, and the arts. We are dedicated to fostering the unity of the Body of Christ and will actively seek to partner with others whenever possible to further our collective mission.
