But it seems God had a better plan….
Adrian Lowe of Amblecote Community Church began fundraising in 2021 & by November of 2023 we had a new gym plus equipment.
We never knew God would provide such an amazing addition to our ministry. It has changed so much about our youth centre for the better!

Ed Lowe Memorial Gym
When our dedicated sponsor Adrian Lowe was about eight weeks into his ambitious fundraising campaign for our community gym, he experienced an unimaginable loss as his beloved son Ed tragically lost his life. In response to this heartbreaking event, we collectively decided to name the gym in honour of Ed Lowe, a young man who was only in his 30s and had so much life ahead of him. Ed left behind a lovely wife, Kate, who is devastated by the loss, as well as a very young son and daughter who will miss their father dearly. It is truly comforting and uplifting to see Ed's memory represented in our gym every time we enter, reminding us of the importance of community and the legacies we leave behind.
